Toys For Tots!

We are so grateful to be able to participate in Toys for Tots again this year! If you are unfamiliar with this charity, it is a program run by the U.S Marine Corps Reserve which collects and distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.

As you can probably tell, this is a pretty awesome project! Knowing this, of course we agreed to be an official drop off location! This is where people can donate these new and unwrapped toys! 

When this organization first started in 1947, they collected and distributed 5,000 toys to children. Last year in 2019, Toys for Tots collected and distributed 18 million toys! What a difference!

Last year, our location filled 1 1/2 boxes to donate! Our goal this year is to fill up at least 2 whole boxes! While it is a very successful organization, the ultimate success depends on the support of the local community and the generosity of those who can donate!

As we all know, Covid-19 is something that we never expected to happen. Some families were affected more than others. This Christmas, there are going to be more families than ever that are struggling to give their children a magical Christmas like they deserve! We are asking our customers, friends, and families, to please bring a toy, if possible! No toy is too small! Now more than ever we need to look out for and help others in our community.
